Hello again everybody!!! If you read all three blog posts that I have done tonight, thank you and sorry for being a tad behind! But now I am all caught up! Yay!! We had another really fun day today (Sunday)! We started the day again by sleeping in until about noon, oops we did it again, but we really needed that and I can proudly say that I am finally all used to the jet lag and time change! Of course that finally happened like 3 days before we are about to leave, but hey at least I felt great today! We went to Espresso House for breakfast again, and I got the same thing as yesterday except I also got a yogurt and this like apple cider type of drink instead of juice!

From there, we walked over to the Haga district, which is one of our favorite places, and it is the street where we went to the café on the first day that had the cinnamon rolls the size of the whole plate! It is just super cute and quaint and lined with really neat shops and a bunch of cafés. The picture below doesn’t do it justice at all, but you can get an idea of what the street looks like! The street and buildings have been there since 1614!

We just went into all of the shops and peaked around and then we decided that we wanted to fika so we went back to that café and got some AMAZING Swedish pastries/desserts and coffees!

The next picture is not the café that we went to, but it is another one just down the street from the one that we went to and I think it is just so cute and they have their desserts on a cart outside with a girl making homemade waffles and crepes!

After we had been in every possible shop in Haga, we decided to go back to the hostel. We stopped at the grocery store right next to our hostel to get some water bottles for our room, and then went back to our room to blog. We then had group dinner at 5:00, and we all met across the street at the other part of our hostel, for what was called “iron chef dinner”. We ordered pizza from a place right by our hostel on the same street, and then we all went to the grocery store to get things to make appetizers and desserts. We all cooked these things together in the kitchen at the hostel, and then had a big dinner together. It ended up being really fun and nice to have a laid-back night for a change! Here are the things we had:

Things I learned today:
- This is going to sound absolutely crazy to admit, but I am actually all shopped out! Especially from Swedish stores!
- Traveling in Europe is so much fun and even better when you finally get used to the jet lag and time difference like I did today!
- It is really difficult to find gifts/souvenirs for people here, but I think I might have come up with a few ideas!
- I am really ready to head home soon. This trip has honestly been so much fun and the trip of a lifetime, but I miss America. Today it just really hit me that I don’t think I could ever live in a foreign country. But Gothenburg is such a cool city, if I could pick it up and put it in the U.S., I would move here in a heartbeat!
- Groceries and food are honestly really cheap here, especially for what you get, and everything else like clothes are super expensive. Kind of backwards from the U.S.!
Well, I hope you enjoyed reading about my day today! It was a lot of fun, and as mentioned before, I am ready to go home, but I am also getting really sad realizing that we have to leave and go back to normal life in a few days! I have loved every minute of my time being here and it has been the best experience! I hope I can find a trip as great as this one to go on next year and the year after that! Tomorrow we are doing our last day of company visits, so that will be interesting to go to again! Goodnight from Göteborg!
